It has also been pointed out that Aqua naturals (mined!)can be worth $150,000/carat, this would suggest that the Jessica at 0.5 would be worth £50k, no-one would pay that for a 'memorial diamond' so they are in fact getting a bargain at just £7500/0.5crt (which is the biggest we could make from the cord (the placenta was not as rich as the cord). I've just lost my Father and think that out of the many methods to say goodbye to our departed ashes this has to be my fav. What a wonderful way to keep a timeless memorial of a loved one.
